See Art, Make Art: NGV Art Party

A night of fashion, art, friends, food, music and fun. Sounds like something you don't want to miss, right?
Well, this Thursday the 22nd, do I have something for you! The National Gallery of Victoria is hosting an Art Party for Under 18s and boy oh boy, it is going to be one great night.

There is heaps to do there including collage making with Minna Gilligan, neon necklace making with Kate Rohde & you can also learn how to make Trashion - fashion from discarded and household materials. On top of that, there's also a silent disco, live DJs, Carsten Holler's Golden Mirror Carousel and sliders and fries on offer for dinner.

And goodness, I haven't even gotten to The Main Attraction but I bet you already want to come, yes? Well get this, you're also invited to an exclusive after-hours access to the exhibition The Fashion World of Jean-Paul Gaultier. If you haven't been, you definitely do not want to miss it. Even if you have already seen this amazing exhibition, you probably want to see it again. There's over 140 intricate and highly-detailed garments that you will be able to see, including some worn by Kylie Minogue, Nicole Kidman, Gemma Ward, Sarah Jessica Parker and Beyonce. *Screams*.

It is my privilege to be an ambassador for this awesome event along side Chessie, Brooke and Camille. We hope you can all come along and hang out with us. For more information and to purchase tickets which are only $13 head over to http://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/program/art-party-summer-2015/ - but be quick because tickets are selling fast!

"Gaultier's radical designs break down stereotypes and clichés, questioning preconceived standards of beauty and challenging societal, gender and aesthetic 'norms'.
... The results are exquisite works of art; exuberant, witty, surprising and dramatic."
